It had a trajectory heading into the net. It IS a great save.
To be fair, though, if it did go in, there might have been a review determining if Abber had a distinct kicking motion scoring the goal.

And the fact that he got it with his leg then kicked it with his toe which got it outta there toot-sweet. It looks very probable that it would’ve still went in after his first contact.

Great save of his own making. If Halak isn’t so far out of the net and leisurely strolling back into the crease does he even need to do anything, but let it hit him?
