Goaltender Steve Valiquette with a KHL blooper. Greg Wyshynski of PuckDaddy with more on the goal.
Also, does anyone attend these games? The arena looks almost empty of fans.

Wow, the internet really speeds up the global awareness of bad goals.
CSKA eventually won 5-4 in a shootout
The attendance was 1,117. With a portion of the crowd from Riga.
Which is sad, CSKA, is one of the most storied hockey teams in Europe. If you scan the boxscores, Spartak another hockey tradition, suffers from similar attendance.
Obviously, gate proceeds are not the major revenue stream for these teams.

Kukla’s Korner is always a free service for readers, but it costs some money to maintain. If you’re ever in a position to donate a few dollars to help out, we’d be very appreciative.

IIRC the team in red, white, and blue, (CSKA Moscow) sometimes plays in this ginormous arena in Moscow that is way, way too big for the crowds they draw.
Hard to comment too much though considering Lowell had a crowd of 300 or something for several games last year, in fine weather with no excuses.
