Video- Phaneuf Out With Lower Body Injury

Toronto Maple Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf left Tuesday’s game against the Ottawa Senators with what the team is calling a lower-body injury.

Phaneuf got tied up with Ottawa’s Peter Regin at 6:11 of the second period and fell awkwardly to the ice. He needed assistance to get to the team’s dressing room. The Leafs confirmed he would be out for the rest of the game.

The video below will show Phaneuf getting tangled up with Regin….

From boos to worse…Phaneuf leaves ACC on stretcher…left knee iced and heavily bandaged.
