Thomas with the save in OT, Bruins did lose in the shootout.
added 10:11pm, via Elliotte Friedman tweet,
Beauchemin on Thomas save: “When I shot, there was no one in net. If we had lost the shootout…” (Stopped and shook head.)

that’s what goalies do if they are decent at their job

most “good saves” are because the goalie is out of position. Thomas wasn’t on this one. He just came up with a beauty.

Coming from the guy who wanted Joey Mac to get a start…

Beach got all of that one too, it’s one of those that if he fanned on it it would have gone in… lol Great save, in fact Thomas played an amazing game. That was one of about 6-7 well above average saves.

Leafs may have won the battle, but clearly are losing the war.
Seguin scored on them in the shootout, a simple beauty of a backhand move.
I’m sure this December win will be remembered and consoling to them when the Bruins pick Couturier, Larsson, or Nugent-Hopkins this next draft and they’re still hoping Nazem Kadri can score 200 goals in a season…
