Detroit-Anaheim Game Achieves 17.1 Household Rating / 35 Share in Metro DetroitFOX Sports Detroit attracted an all-time record audience for Sunday’s Game 5 of the NHL Western Conference Semifinal series between the Detroit Red Wings and Anaheim Ducks.
Based on data received from Nielsen Media Research, the 5:00-7:45 PM telecast registered a 17.1 household rating / 35 share in the Detroit metro area, an average of nearly 330,000 homes (one rating point equals approximately 19,270 households).

I think a Pens/Wings Final would do even better than last year ratings wise. Hopefully, the Bruins can throw a wrench into that scenario but its not looking too good right now…...

Did someone run these numbers by Terry Foster at the Detroit News? I’m sure they are wrong.
He tells us no one cares about the Red Wings in Detroit.

I think a Pens/Wings Final would do even better than last year ratings wise.
That might even draw in fans of other teams or casual fans, because of the rematch. That doesn’t happen often in any sport.
