NEW YORK (March 3, 2008) – NHL.com experienced a record number of page views on NHL.com for its coverage of the 2008 NHL Trade Deadline on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008.
While Trade Deadline Day historically is one of the busiest days of the year for NHL.com, Tuesday’s Trade Deadline Day—which included a live stream of NHL Network coverage—surpassed years past with 16,953,053 page views, 1,433,525 unique users and 2,182,031 visits. These figures represent a 26% increase in the number of page views and 40% increase in Visits NHL.com experienced last year on Trade Deadline Day (Feb. 27, 2007). Compared to an average day in February, page views were up 62%.
