Ways to Follow Junior Hockey

If you’re interested in watching or listening to more hockey than you ever have before, here are some ways to follow the junior hockey team of your choosing:
The WHL is offering WHL Live. You can buy anything from a single archived game to live coverage of every team in the league. There is an early bird special going on right now that will save you $10. So if you’re interested, go for it.
The OHL does not appear to have such an offer at this time. Most teams do have radio broadcasts, however, and you can find the list of those that do and the station/website that covers them on the OHL website.
I don’t speak French right now since my first class in that subject isn’t until next semester, but I did manage to Google Translate my way to finding that the QMJHL has a similar offer for live streaming that the WHL has, though their prices are a bit lower. Odds that the broadcasts are in English? One in a million. (So you’re telling me there’s a chance!)

As for the QMJHL, the odds of an English broadcast depend on where the team is located. All the teams in Atlantic Canada and the USA would have English broadcasts:
Titan
WIldcats
Sea Dogs
Rocket
Moosehead
Screaming Eagles
Maniacs

And yet, NHL Gamecenter Live isn’t available for purchase until 10/1…

I stand corrected. Although someone actually at NHLGCL told me it wouldn’t be available for purchase until 10/1, it is apparently available now: https://gamecenter.nhl.com/nhlgc/secure/gclsignup?cmpid=nhl-gcl-EB-US-FB

You can do the same for minor league hockey.
The CHL (Central) has its own webcasting service. The AHL and ECHL both use b2 and you can purchase single games or entire seasons of access. Depending on the arena some are very professional, others are kinda’ rough.
I know several AAHL teams were toying around with webcasts as well. I watched 2 Battle Creek Revolution vs Evansville Icemen games online last season. The quality was terrible (camera high in a corner) but they were free so hey, what was I out?
