Pavel Datsyuk with with a shootout goal tonight against Josh Harding of the Wild.
Watch below the breakaway goal Datsyuk scored against Turco a few years ago and the one agains Vokoun too, plus another video of tonight’s goal.
I’ve added another video of the goal tonight, a little longer but also a little darker.
Plus the same move against Vokoun.

P.J. Stock when going through the highlights of previous games (paraphrasing):
“Kids, don’t try this at home. I tried it in practice a few years ago and twisted an ankle and fell down and crashed into the boards. I know it looks cool, but don’t do it.”

I feel so fortunate to be able to watch this guy play the game.
He is a master.
It is like watching a great dancer or musician perform.

To be fair, he did change it up quite a bit tonight. On the other two he just sold the shot and pulled it back. This time he, as Mickey put it, had 3 dekes beforehand. I like it better even though the Harding didn’t look as foolish.
