What Do The Rangers Do Now?

from Larry Brooks of the NY Post,
This was a throwback to the pre-lockout days when the Rangers were a miserable collection of underachievers and the Garden crowd amused itself by chanting for the dismissal of the GM and the coach.
That was this afternoon, when the reeling Rangers were humiliated 5-2 by the Flyers after falling behind 5-0 midway through the second and the crowd intermittently chanted “Fire [Glen] Sather” and “Fire [Tom] Renney.”
How low can they go? Who knows?

It has been pathetic to watch. This team has no heart, they skate with no passion it’s like watching individuals. Not a team.
Drury = Non existent
Gomez = Non existent
Redden = Non existent
Lundqvist = has effortless games like Sunday.
Rosizal= Non existent
Naslund = Non existent
Callahan = shows up to play
Korpikoski= shows up to play
Dawes= shows up most of the time
Zherdev = shows up, gets frustrated then quits.
Mara = shows up to play
Staal = shows up to play
Prucha = has zero confidence playing on this team now.
The list goes on.. The amount of non existents on this team vs. the amount of salary is really really bad on this team.
If Drury and Gomez wanted to show some appreciation to the team… they would take a salary cut because they have not performed to their salary. Not even close.
