from Michael Farber of Sports Illustrated,
“I put thinking in the future (on the back burner) because I love hockey so much,” Kovalchuk told On The Fly. “Sometimes I get frustrated, but it’s not like I go home and cry in my pillow. We’ll get through this and be a better team.”
The question: Will Kovalchuk be around to see it?
read on with some Oiler and Norris Trophy talk too…

Is he serious - Ohlund for the Norris? Ohlund’s not even then best defenseman on the canucks, let alone in the NHL. Mithchell’s got that locked up.

Trade him to the Sens for a package of skilled and younger players. How good would Heatley and Kovalchuk look on the same line. There’s something to be said for chemistry and those guys have it!

Kukla’s Korner is always a free service for readers, but it costs some money to maintain. If you’re ever in a position to donate a few dollars to help out, we’d be very appreciative.

Trade him while he still has value. He won’t be producing much on the fourth line.
