There is no questioning what Jason Smith brings.
The only question is what Smith has left to give.
A traded captain of the Edmonton Oilers just a year ago and not a serious consideration to return with the rising Philadelphia Flyers, Smith will have to prove he is still the top four type of defenceman that Bryan Murray believes he is bringing to the Ottawa Senators.
