Featured on the current issue of The Hockey News is the Leafs’ Mats Sundin.
Last week it was Nick Lidstrom and the week before that was Henrik Zetterberg.
It has to be a first, three Swedes on back-to-back-to-back covers!

false_cause...Nicklas Backstrom (WSH) is Swedish, Niklas Backstrom (MIN) is Finnish. Or at least the former was born in Gavle, Sweden, and the latter was born in Helsinki, and was developed in Finland.
I don’t mean to be a richard if you didn’t mean it that way.

I have no problem with the streak of Swedes on the covers… I was getting more concerned about the streak of freakin’ Red Wings.
Next up, I say we need a couple Sedins on there.
