I just want to reassure everyone who’s written and wondered where Paul Kukla is that he will be back soon but can’t promise exactly when.
Most likely his presence will be on-and-off over the coming days, as he’s recovering slowly from some health problems. Nothing to worry about, but the symptoms make it impossible to work most of the time. (And if you’ve sent him an email and are awaiting a reply, please have patience—he’s limited in that regard for the moment as well.)

One guy’s dream and willingness to expend the great amount of unrecognized personal effort and hours has blossomed into something much bigger and helped others grow legs of their own.
We Wings fans may be finally simmering down a little bit and may be able to catch up on sleep soon.
But I heard from Steve and the NHL Awards Show will be on Versus (Thursday 7-8:30 Eastern), he says, so that gives us the next hockey fix to look forward to, if we can survive the frequently awkward and painful mc’ing job and mandatory Canadian rock band. After that will be the draft and free agency, August vacations, US Labor Day, then training camps!

Anyone who read VCOE back in the day knows that Alanah most certainly does bite. Especially if you make fun of her beloved Dan Cloutier (though I think she’s finally over that).
