Wings Don’t Expect Suspension For Brown, Rafalski Out Tomorrow

from Ansar Khan of Mlive,

The Ducks said they hadn’t been contacted by the league regarding any disciplinary action against Mike Brown for his hit on Jiri Hudler in Game 1 and the Wings believe there will be no suspension.

“I’m not surprised (no suspension yet) and I don’t think there will be,’’ Wings coach Mike Babcock said….

Babcock confirmed that defenseman Brian Rafalski (upper-body injury) won’t play in Game 2 Sunday. Rafalski did not skate Saturday. Dan Cleary (lower-body injury) also didn’t skate, which has been common since the playoffs started, but he is good to go.
