The Detroit Red Wings have signed forward Tomas Holmstrom to a three-year contract extension.
Additional terms of the contract are not available.

Was Holmstrom going to be UFA this summer?
On another note, what a shot by Sanderson that hit Lundqvist in the chest a few minutes ago in this NYR/Philly game, it took the wind right out of him.

Homer’s deal is for just about $2 million a year, which is a great deal for a guy who works as hard as Homer does.
