XM Radio’s free 7-day online trial* now includes NHL Home Ice, which is a very nice upgrade.
The puck drops every day on the world’s fastest sport. Listen to the action on NHL Home Ice - XM 204, the world’s first hockey channel. Delivering a high energy mix of information and entertainment, NHL Home Ice is the on-ice leader for fans across North America with analysis, excitement, up-to-the-second news…
Just go to XM Radio.com or XM Radio.ca (for Canadians) to sign up. Once you’ve registered and activated your account, go to the “Sports” tab on the player, and you’ll see NHL Home Ice (XM 204) available on the list below.
Note: I’m not certain of the reason, but the trial that appeared for me on the Canada link was a 7 day trial; Paul’s—going through the .com address—was for 3 days.

As a music geek and a hockey nut, XM is one of the best things out there. The depth of the music channels is great and Home Ice entertains me all the time. Home Ice didn’t used to be streamed online but now I can listen to it while I work!
Just beware, a certain Dwayne pops up from time to time. I have to turn the dial when that starts.

not for me until dwayne is off he air. we are being scammed by dwayne and someone should take xm to task on this. when fans of xm realize they are being laughed at by believing he is an insider, all hell will break loose.

Dwayne is a total douchebag but Home Ice is good for more than that.
Thanks for the heads up on this. I’m an xm subscriber and have always hoped for this!!

I have to admit that I don’t access XM’s hockey channels very often (mostly because I get the Wings games on the Fox Sports Detroit channel on cable), but I wouldn’t be without XM radio.
I work from home and their Audio Visions channel (channel 77) is on all day. It’s worth every penny I pay for it. The best deal is to pay for two years in advance and get their generous discout.
