You know what’s awesome?
I came to this thread seeing there were 4 posts already, and I already knew they’d be about Watson’s absence.
His absence speaks volumes about what the league REALLY thought of his officiating. Defend him all they want publicly, his absence means they KNOW he was wrong.

Well, ‘Company Man Dan’ O’Halloran made the cut, so you know he’ll be officiating any crucial Pittsburgh games in the ECFs.

No, BOO. I know he’s an experienced veteran that’s usually quite good, but he was an abortion in Wings/Ducks game two. Spent the entire game giving Pronger/Neidermayer/Getzlaf/Perry reach-arounds.
