It’s over and soon we will be back to regular season hockey.

The city of Montreal deserves high-fives all around for being such a great host city. 

Now, the games get serious again and the race for the 2nd season is about to begin.

Most of the time they’re a bit nauseating because they tend to be just 60 minutes of the players trying to set up pretty passes…

However, every few years there’s something that makes them worthwhile.  This year will be one of those years that stands out, with two reasons why: Kovalev’s two breakaway goals; the shootout (I wish it would’ve lasted longer than 5 shooters).

I thought the 10 minute standing ovaition they gave Gordie was Awesome!!

.........Oh....you were refering to this years game ???

I guess I was confused watching the 1980 game earlier in the day.

I dunno , I think Reed Larson would give andre the giant a run for his money.
