from Spector at his Fox Sports Blog,
After being stuck in a two-hour traffic jam coming into Montreal following an 1100 km drive from Prince Edward Island to Montreal’s outskirts, scrambling for a decent internet connection in my room, and being unable to hook up with my friends from the Face Off Hockey Show (FOHS) for supper, getting stuck in a monsoon on Rene Levesque Blvd was icing on the cake.
Looking like I’d been just rescued from the St. Lawrence River, I squished into the lobby of my hotel, and in response to the horrified look of the receptionist said, “Ever had one of those days?” At least she laughed, hopefully good-naturedly.
