If he’s injured, it’s from the right arm landing on the ice, not from the hit itself.

Yeah, he got absolutely lit the hell up.
Here’s hoping for less than two weeks… /sigh

IwoCPO just had to taunt the hockey gods, didn’t he? “They’re not vengeful,” he said. “They won’t spite me.” Running that who’s-next contest was just asking for trouble.
Now somebody’s going to go and say something stupid like, “At least things can’t get any worse.”

Nope, Babcock said it’s his left shoulder and he’s driving himself for an MRI. He got crunched but good. Unfortunate.

Evening 19…after watching the hit on Z….hate to say it…but it was clean. Z could have peeled off, slowed up, dodged, or whichever, but instead he did what The Captain would have…put it all out there for his team. I choose to HOPE (TM someone) he’s just dazed, had the wind knocked out of him, etc etc…

What I mentioned in the Live Blog….more or less. Didn’t know if Paul would like the Emma reference.

and he’s driving himself for an MRI.
I’m hoping that’s good (hey, he can drive himself to get the MRI) and not bad (hey, he couldn’t hurt himself any worse by driving himself) news…

Left shoulder, so even if he has a stick shift, his right arm still works fine.
For the sake of comparison, Cleary is out with a shoulder and the initial time quoted for him was four weeks.

Yeah but (and this is me clinging to the little bit of hope I can muster) if it’s serious, most responsible doctors/trainers would probably not let one of their team’s star players drive themself anywhere with a should injury…

Clean hit.
