Zubrus To Sabres

Caps trade Zubrus to Sabres and a minor leaguer for a 1st and Novotny. per TSN
Update 2:38pm ET:
From TSN,
The Washington Capitals traded centre Dainius Zubrus and defenceman Timo Helbling on Tuesday to the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for Jiri Novotny.
Zubrus, who signed a two-year, $2.9 million contract with the Capitals in August of 2005, is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Drury, Briere, “Connolly” and Zubrus. Three of these four are unrestricted next year and one may not be back. That’s a lot of potentail depth at centre, but what happens if they are all healthy in the playoffs? Is there enough ice time to go around?
Ty Conklin as your backup goalie has to worry you more than depth down centre. Does anyone knwo anything about Timo Helbling and he possibly a top six defencemen for the Sabres?
