(Jason) Reitman told the league to call him if he could be of any help and they asked him to blog.
“This year is a little depressing because my two teams, the (Vancouver) Canucks and the (Los Angeles) Kings, neither of them are in the playoffs,” he said, adding that the invitation came “when the Canucks still had a chance.”

Jason Reitman (director of a movie called Juno and son of Dan Aykroyd (see comment) on NHL Live today- The Wings, they are choke artists!
One thing about Jason. He said he is a Canadian but has only been following hockey for seven years, his girlfriend turned him onto the game.
Jason is 30, so 23 years without hockey, and a Canadian too? Well, that tells me all I need to know.
