Rangers/Coyotes Trade

GLENDALE, ARIZONA—Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have acquired left wing Lauri Korpikoski from the New York Rangers in exchange for right wing Enver Lisin.
Korpikoski, 22, appeared in 68 games with the Rangers last season as a rookie, recording 6-8-14 and 14 penalty minutes (PIM). He also collected two assists while appearing in all seven of the Rangers’ playoff games last season.

Enver Lisin, a 2nd round pick of the Coyotes back in 2004, is supposed to be a part of the team’s future. He’s got a lot of speed, that’s for sure.
The problem? he’s been hurting his team in the present, a LOT.
