As a hockey fan I am waiting for the day:
-when a great play has just been made and I don’t have to find the ref on TV to see if his arm is raised.
-Datsyuk involved in a shootout.
-A Bobby Baun style hip check at the blueline, and another and another.
-A 5 on 3 goal with a stick to stick to stick goal.
-When the NHL removes the coincidental penalty call.
-The Red Wings actually admit they are not selling out all of their home games.
-A goalie brawl.
-Jaques Demers tossing his glasses on the ice again.
-An update on ‘Vladdy’.
-Brett Hull in the studio at OLN.
-Don Cherry interviewing Alex Ovechkin.
-The AVS TV play by play man giving credit to the other team.
-A new design for the Zamboni.
-Stan Fischler and Bob Goodenow have lunch together.
