Hey guys!
I am proud to introduce the KK readers to asapHockey, a real time hockey news application that was released for the iPhone last week. We’re looking to get as many hardcore hockey fans trying out the product as possible—which is why I’m here to introduce the app! ![]()
asapHockey provides hockey news to users in real time by sourcing updates from Twitter, which is fast becoming the best way of getting breaking news updates from fans and media services alike. The app itself acts as a news aggregation service, grabbing updates with some sort of relevance to the team of your choosing. If you’re used to digging through Twitter looking for hockey related information, you’ll realize how many steps asapHockey takes out of that process. Those who are now using the app are calling it a “real time news wire” for hockey news.
asapHockey features 160+ teams to choose from, including all of the minor league teams of the AHL and Canada’s CHL. For you folks without an iPhone, asapHockey will soon be available for the rest of the major mobile platforms such as the Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Android. You can download asapHockey now by searching ‘asaphockey’ in the iTunes app store, or by clicking the link made available on asapHockey.com.
I’d love to hear from any iPhone users who are able to install and use the asapHockey app—please feel free to PM me here at Kuklas Korner or to find my contact info via http://www.charismedia.ca. Any feedback is good feedback!
Cheers!
