Who Hurts More: Dallas or Vancouver?

Both the Dallas Stars and Vancouver Canucks lost some important guys in their lineup over the past few days. We don’t know the extent of Roberto Luongo’s injury, but two things are certain: 1) he’ll be out a significant amount of time and 2) groin injuries on goalies can bother them off and on all year. It’s not going to be as ugly as having Brenden Morrow out for the whole season but it’s not a whole heck of a lot better.
With that in mind, it’ll be a critical December for both teams as they try to figure out their way without their respective captains. Here’s two pretty self-explanatory polls on this issue:

One of the funny things about doing a countdown like this is that you forget how dominant a player was in a particular era—and just how much injuries can change the trajectory of a career. 1998-99’s #7 top player is none other than big #88, Eric Lindros.
