About Eye on the Media

Eye on the Media, debuted on Kukla’s Korner in February of 2008, and deals with all the evil, weird and just plain insane things that happen when hockey ventures into the foreign worlds of TV, Radio and News Print. I am a student, and a communications major, in New Jersey, which by association means you can blame me for destroying hockey. I love hockey and wants to hear everything you have to say about the way our game is covered.

Why can’t they put it on Center Ice for the rest of us without satellite and not in market?

Not everyone has Center Ice as it’s a PPV package. So moving it for an axillary channel for the dishes makes more sense. Further on Cable the center ice channels are shared by MLB extra innings on most cable systems so the channels probably aren’t available on cable for what would probably be for only 5 minutes in the event.
