About Eye on the Media
Eye on the Media, debuted on Kukla’s Korner in February of 2008, and deals with all the evil, weird and just plain insane things that happen when hockey ventures into the foreign worlds of TV, Radio and News Print. I am a student, and a communications major, in New Jersey, which by association means you can blame me for destroying hockey. I love hockey and wants to hear everything you have to say about the way our game is covered.

Hughson and Simpson to Call 2 Games on Saturday

Tomorrow, he and game analyst Craig Simpson will call the 3 p.m. EDT Colorado Avalanche-Edmonton Oilers game at Rexall Place in Edmonton.
Then they will board a chartered flight to Calgary to announce the Minnesota Wild-Flames game at 10 p.m. EDT.
“I spotted it on the schedule in September and thought, ‘I want to do that, baby,’ “ Hughson said yesterday. “As soon as we talked about it at the start of the year, it seemed like a natural.”
