About Eye on the Media
Eye on the Media, debuted on Kukla’s Korner in February of 2008, and deals with all the evil, weird and just plain insane things that happen when hockey ventures into the foreign worlds of TV, Radio and News Print. I am a student, and a communications major, in New Jersey, which by association means you can blame me for destroying hockey. I love hockey and wants to hear everything you have to say about the way our game is covered.

by Steve on 04/04/08 at 01:18 PMComments (0)
From Newsday:
The Garden’s current plan is to use Cablevision funds to turn the inside of the arena into a state-of-the-art facility in time for the 2011-12 Rangers and Knicks seasons. Work will begin in the spring of 2009 and be done primarily over the summers of 2009 and 2010, likely displacing the WNBA’s Liberty for all or part of its seasons. No Knicks or Rangers games will be moved.
Continue Reading, and notice how in the coverage and photos, how prominently the Rangers are featured in comparison to the Knicks.
