John Glennon’s afternoon update over at the Tennessean contains the most optimistic language we’ve seen yet out of the Nashville Predators regarding the prospect of Steve Sullivan returning to the ice:
Asked if Sullivan would soon be returning to practice, Trotz said, ``If you’re asking me what his chances are, I think they’re good. I wouldn’t have said that a few months ago … That would be a nice little free-agent acquisition for us.’’
Please, Santa; the Preds fans have been awfully good this year, and deserve a boost like this. In other news, Tootoo and Nichol are out for tonight, Ryan Jones has been recalled from Milwaukee, and Dan Ellis gets the start in Columbus…
