Be glad that ottawa is tanking.  They need to get some prospect depth big time.  I wish the canucks tanked this season, so we would be able to get a cahnce at tavares for a tavares/hodgson 1-2 punch.  However, the hope i had when we were in the mix of that 8 game losing streak is slowly going away.  I have a feeling we are jusst going to miss the playoffs, or just barely make it and then lose in the first round.

Do you know how much of a delay they use for screening calls ?  Im sure someone is going to ask about the teams in financial disarray, and Im sure his response will be that all teams are prosperous.... My biggest gripe with the guy is that he shuts down the league for a season due to the salary’s going through the roof, and just a few seasons after all of that, the league is back to where it was.  I just dont think its good business to run a gate-driven league that way, plus the TV revenue just isn’t there, and probably won’t ever be.... Even with a cap, its still a rich getting richer league.....  Sounds weird for a Wings fan to say that eh ???
