The accolades for Nashville Predators prospects continue to roll in. 2008 1st-round pick Colin Wilson is the Hockey East player of the week, and leads Boston University, the top-ranked team in U.S. college hockey, in scoring. The New York Daily News chimes in with a profile this evening, setting his career so far in context with that of his father, former NHL’er Carey Wilson. Quoth Jack Parker, his coach at BU:
“He is, no question, one of our catalysts. Colin is more of a physical player as well; he’s a real good offensive player that can make plays and create for his linemates, but he can bang and he can protect the puck. He’s a power forward with hands.”
