Canes sue rapper

The Carolina Hurricanes have filed suit against this hip-hop fellow named Tyrone Banks.  He recorded a song called “Carolina Hurricanes” the chorus of which goes “What’s the name of your team?  CAROLINA HURRICANES”.  I don’t know if there’s anything else to the song than the chorus.  The song was played in the RBC Center during games and used for some other promotional things.  Suddenly, though, the tables turned.  The Canes are claiming that Banks is illegally using the Hurricanes name and trademarks for his own profit.  I don’t know all the details, but there’s my understanding of the situation.
This allows me to bring back a YouTube favorite of mine.  A group of little kids with their rendition of the song.  You have to watch it to the end.  It makes absolutely no sense, but there’s a great payoff.
