Not Just Lines, Roster Shuffles Tonight As Well

From the Ottawa Senators,

The Ottawa Senators today assigned defenceman Brian Lee to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. Lee, 21, played in all five games with the Senators this season, recording one assist and a +1 rating while averaging 13:03 minutes of ice-time per game.

Exactly as some had been predicting in this morning’s news, and sure enough, Richardson will be stepping in. Schubert will also make his way to the bench, trading places with Donovan, who will find himself in the press box. Certainly, there’s more than a scent of accountability in Hartsburg’s moves, and players will need to step up to keep themselves out of any future rounds of musical chairs.
