Commemorative First-Game Ticket Highlights Penguins’ Promotional Schedule

The Pittsburgh Penguins will distribute a ‘commemorative ticket’ to all fans attending the inaugural regular season game at CONSOL Energy Center on October 7 when they host the Philadelphia Flyers. Each one-of-a-kind aluminum ticket, presented by Trib Total Media, will be handmade by local artisans and craftsmen at Grove City-based Wendell August Forge.
Other items highlighting the Penguins 2010-11 promotional schedule, announced today, include a winter scarf, knit cap, youth drawstring bag, schedule mouse pad, poster, baseball cap, long sleeve t-shirt, locker room sign, travel bag and wall banner.
Tickets for individual games go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m.
The Penguins will also hold their popular Fan Appreciation Night, including the “Shirts Off Our Backs” giveaway courtesy of Dick’s Sporting Goods, at the regular season finale on April 5, 2011 against the New Jersey Devils.
