Gonchar game-time decision for tonight’s Game Seven

For the second day in a row, Penguins’ defenseman Sergei Gonchar practiced with the team and is considered a game-time decision. Gonchar skated with Brooks Orpik and took his place on the No. 1 powerplay unit.
Gut feeling: He’s playing. I would also expect HCDB to dress 7 defensemen just in case he’s can’t go 100%. At a bare minimum, he should be out there for powerplays.
Six hours to go.

It’s tough to say on my end, since I have no idea about Gonch’s condition.... Personally, even though Dupuis isn’t putting up the numbers, his speed has taken advantage of the slow Caps’ defense quite a few times before he was pulled....
IRT Satan and Sykora, for as much of a Sykora fan as I’ve been, Satan has really been pleasant to watch.... And he’s actually thrown a forecheck or two, who knew…

Dupuis’ speed has been an asset, and the way he works, he is going to get rewarded at some point.
I’m strongly rooting for Satan since he came back in. I almost hit the roof when he made that pass to Crosby.
With Sykora, I was a huge fan over the last two years, but from what I read in the press since the start of the playoffs, and his play on the ice, he’s taken multiple steps back for me, and I really hope he’s not re-signed anymore. He seems to have an attitude that his past should dictate his icetime.

With Gonch practicing with Orpik, it seems like he may think he’ll be able to play a full game.
What do you think of six defensemen, and Sykora AND Satan dressed?
Sykora can be clutch, and Satan has played so well the last two games.
Or six D, and Dupuis back in?
