If you’re the Penguins, what team would you prefer to face in the ECF ??

Now that the Penguins have disposed of those pesky Capitals, it’s now down to tonight’s winner of the Hurricanes and Bruins in Baaaaaston for the Eastern Conference championship series.
We have about 12 hours before we know who the Penguins will face, but if you had a choice, would you prefer to face the Canes or the Bruins ??
Of course, with the Canes, the Pens would have home ice advantage, for what it’s worth (just ask the Caps). The Canes (read: Cam Ward) sure as hell seem to have the Pens’ number since his arrival. Offensively, I think the Pens have a slight advantage, but obviously still a very close series.
With the Bruins, you’d face a much more physical group, led by Zdeno Chara. And, of course, you have another top-notch goalie in Tim Thomas.
So, let’s hear it. If you had a choice, which team would it be ??

I think the B’s are the easier team to beat, but Carolina would give the Pens home ice. So for that reason alone, I’d have to go with Carolina.
This group of Penguins haven’t done tremendously well in series that they don’t have home ice for. Detroit last lseason, they lost games 1 and 2, Washington this season, lost games 1 and 2, and Ottawa two seasons ago, they lost in 5 (Although their 1 win was in Ottawa...).

I think Boston would be easier to beat ‘cause they tend to fold every time fans start placing expectations on them. With no expectations they’re world beaters. Look how they started the season, know one expected them to be that good. Than fans started to believe in them and they went into a slump, same thing is happening in these playoffs. But ,on the other hand they would get home ice against the ‘Canes, but they have a ton more winning experience with their most important players ,Staal, Brind A’mour ,Cole, ect. have won the SC very recently (’06). So all in all I think the Bruins would be the easier team to beat.

It’s gotta be Carolina. Less depth, home ice.

I’d rather see the Pens play the Devils!! Oh, yeah, my team saw fit to give up two goals in the last 80 seconds of a game 7. Nevermind…

I’m pulling for the Canes mainly because Boston is badass, but home ice would be nice.
