Malkin in tonight’s lineup vs. Bruins, but Kunitz out 2 weeks

The Penguins will get a much-needed boost to their lineup when Evgeni Malkin returns after being held out with a sore shoulder.

While that’s obviously good news, as one player returns, another player departs.  The Penguins announced that forward Chris Kunitz will be out of the lineup for two weeks with a lower-body injury.

Goes without saying, having Malkin back in the lineup certainly outweighs Kunitz’ absence, but still appears that the Penguins can’t yet shake the injury bug.

First Malkin, now Kunitz..
These mysterious “injuries” that just need a couple of weeks of rest so get better. Hmmm?
Maybe Shero’s going to go right through the roster, one after another with a 2-week sabbatical for players to rest after 2 long seasons.. tongue wink

Lindas, that might not be as crazy as it sounds.

Bruins v Pens ...0-0 after the shootout.

Snoozer game of the evening.

Flsh - that’s dumb - they’ve had three months. They have had two long seasons and I’m sure that they have bodies that are suffering from it, but the idea of each player taking a two week sabbatical? Dumb.

We need Gonch back. Baby Pens aren’t cutting it on defense.

I’ll watch a snoozer game like that any day of the week.

The injuries are piling up this year.  Still...I don’t think a player like Kunitz would need a “me time” break.  Letang...oh yeah.  Malkin needs some borsch?  Orpik wanted to go trick or treating...late?

Real snoozer alright… I mean, c’mon… only 11 goals scored between the 2 teams, with Billy Guerin tying it with 00.4 seconds left… I didn’t wake up till the post-game interviews /sarcasm.
