Oh, the hockey searches we do…..

So I’m checking some stats for The Confluence, basically putzing around.
And I stumble upon a section of the Statcounter that details the “recent keyword activity” that shows people put in various search engines and ultimately clicked here.
Some of them are funny, some of them make you scratch your head.
Here’s some examples from just the past couple of days:
Some of them are understandable:

mario lemieux olympic torch bearer
matt cooke
trottier penguins jersey
troy polamalu and penguins
nathan moon
robert bortuzzo
“Evgeni Malkin” greatest

mike yeo pens has to go (my personal favorite)

Some get a little more interesting:
bob errey water (Pens fans know about this one)
best sports cities list
crosby does not suck
scotty doesn’t know flyers
cash for hockey card collection modern
Philadelphia Flyers hate
pittsburgh penguins tanking games crosby
FSN Pittsburgh General Manager
greg nyc radio station national hockey league
sport OR trophy OR golf OR football “remember my personal information”
toews or staal pick again
Just goes to show you what people are thinking about when they’re online.
