From the Penguins:
PENGUINS FORWARD TYLER KENNEDY TO MISS FOUR TO SIX WEEKS
“The Pittsburgh Penguins forward Tyler Kennedy will miss four to six weeks with a sprained knee, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero. Kennedy suffered the injury on December 3 against the New York Rangers and has been placed on injured reserve.”
Tough blow to an already banged-up Penguins roster. Chris Minard looked good in Kennedy’s place against Carolina, looks like he’ll get an extended look. The jury remains out on Janne Pesonen, he’s only getting token minutes from HCMT.

Not good. Kennedy’s one of the Penguins players who actually skates hard every single shift, and is willing to go get the pucks and get them to our stars. Too bad he’s out - that Staal, Cooke, Kennedy line was fantastic. Minard did look good though. Pesonen’s looked a step slow/out of position, but I agree that he hasn’t had the opportunity to really shine.

Therrien really makes his Europeans EARN their spot from nothing, huh?
Think Sykora last year, he didn’t get a real good shot with Malkin or Crosby until Crosby got hurt. Satan this year to a point. Ruutu didn’t get to show how valuable he can be on the PK and in defensive situations until injuries piled-up.
I’m trying to think of others.
Ekman, I guess. I don’t think he deserved the chance.
Who else?
