Seriously? Isn’t it enough that every NHL commercial concentrates on Crosby/Pittsburgh? Now we get an actual Penguins commercial? I wonder how much money has been exchanged between Lemieux and Bettman under the table since the lockout?

Scott from New York, this is a commercial the Penguins created and paid for themselves, to be broadcast on CBS in Pittsburgh during the Super Bowl. This was a local marketing effort, completely separate from the NHL.

I don’t think some people realize just how much of a fool they sound like with these conspiracy theories....
Just talk hockey, be passionate about it if you wish, but stop the rants like you’re a 10 year old girl stomping your feet....

This is an awesome commercial. Could someone forward it to the Wings’ PR department please? Last year’s playoff “theme,” was *Fire On Ice*. Might as well have called it IcyHot, idiots.

For the life of me, I can’t figure out why they didn’t show Cindy crying to the refs telling them to quiet the crowd after Ovie’s hat trick. THAT certainly defy’s ordinary.

I see the trolls make it here also.
Ah, it’s tough being the Stanley Cup Champs.
Btw troll, there is no one named “Cindy” that plays in the NHL, so try again

My posts are regularly linked by hockey websites such as the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Empty Netters and Yahoo!’s Puck Daddy, and I’ve done guest blogger spots on such websites as the New York Times. I invite you to spend a little time and peruse the archives at all of the sites for some of my better work.
