From the Penguins:
The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Mark Letestu to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
Letestu recorded his first career NHL goal (and point) in Pittsburgh’s 5-4 victory over Buffalo Feb. 1. Letestu, who made his NHL debut Nov. 14 against Boston, has appeared in seven games this season for Pittsburgh.

I wish the Pens could take advantage of his right-handed faceoff skills, but in the long run, with Talbot coming back, and Adams’ positive attributes (physicality, penalty killing, shot blocking) seems like he’ll be in the AHL for the end of the season.
Adams is so bad at faceoffs. It’d be nice in the playoffs to have another guy (especially right handed) capable of getting some big wins (other than Crosby), but it won’t happen at the expense of Adams’ true skills.
I pine for Ziggy Zigomanis. He had 15+ goals for me including multiple shorties in my first NHL10 season.

Letestu has been a bright spot in a very dark weekend. I don’t understand the cap very well, but i hear these constant back and forth moves are related to the cap so most likely he will be back for Wednesday’s game.
