The Bruins lost the game, but won the mental battles. They were throwing the ‘Guins around like rag dolls.

Watching Cooke get his a** beat was a thing of joy.

You sure you actually watched this game Winger ?

Outside of the Thornton/Cooke scrap (and it must be manly to continue to try to hit Cooke while refs are holding both guys), and the Chara/Rupp fight, it was a pretty dominating performance by the Pens…

And, by the way, the Pens outhit the Bruins 20-19, and that’s even in Boston….

Also, forgot to mention, Lady Gaga will not be the first act to play in the C.E.C….. The Pens are waiting to announce that act….

Wow, do we file that one under “dominating”, too?  wink

I watched the game, Tony. Chara and Thornton totally dominated their fights. The Pens were intimidated. The B’s won the mental game.

The B’s won the mental game.

That’s two points in the imaginary standings.

There was a time when trolls even knew a little about the game. Now it’s just sad.

You’re thinking of the Netherlands, we’re more into windmills at the moment.

At least you’re admitting to your problem. That a good first step.

I file it under that the hits statistic is subjective for every game, but especially when playing on the road….

And as for the fights, Chara (and Rupp) hardly connected on any of their punches, while Thornton’s only connections came after the refs interceded… you call that domination ??

The Pens weren’t intimidated at all, rather, they controlled every aspect of play….

Yeah, Brooks Orpik looked really intimidated as he passed out the free candy all over Beantown. I think they were more intimidated by the crazy guy challenging their entire bus to a fight than the B’s.

Chara and Thornton didn’t need to land a ton of punches, only effective ones. And they did that.

There is no glory in beating a team that has no offense. What came out of that game is that the Pens cannot back up their dirty play. The Pens can be intimidated.
