The Red Wings wish fans a happy and safe holiday season on Red Wings TV, and, very casually, Johan Franzen steals the show:
Somewhere down the line, something tells me that Johan Franzen will open, “Al Sobotka’s Feed the Mule Cafe”...

The Mule is turning out to be a really funny guy - the ad last year with the towels and the deodorant, the RAM commercial this season, and now this. Pav may have a rival for funniest Red Wing.

blesphemer MRW! We all know Homer is hands down the funniest Wing..
Anyone else catch his interview a couple games ago about telling Nick to shoot the puck?
“I tell him to shoot, I yell.. he doesn’t listen.. I have to tell him in Swedish, so he knows I’m serious”
I ‘bout fell off the couch. His face was priceless

Pavel is the funniest wing.
“Do you remember the last time you got into a fight:?”

About The Malik Report
The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I’ve joined the Kukla’s Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you’ll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we’re all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.

I’m an alumnus of the University of Michigan, possessing bachelor’s degrees in English and Secondary Education. I have no formal journalistic training, however, so I’m trying to make blogging work while entering through an open window. I’m simply a partisan Wings fan who believes that passionate but professional bloggers fill a complimentary and contextual gap between the objective media and fans, and I can boast being the first blogger to be granted access to the past four Wings’ “summer strength and conditioning camps,” as well as the Red Wings’ 2010 prospect tournament and main training camp in Traverse City, MI.
