“They’ve won their last two games total and they’re playing well. They beat a good team in L.A. and beat a team that’s desperate for their own jobs in Columbus.
“They play fast, and they’ve got some skill up front. Their back end is young, but they’ve got some good skill. They’re going to be a test.’‘
-That my friends is Mike Babcock talking about the Avs via Khan of Mlive
Paul here for George who is either at a wedding or shopping at Walmart, I forgot what he told me.

Wedding! With horses!

That could still be at most Michigan WalMarts…

Damn double post…ceremony was awesome as the Hindu wedding went for ninety minutes and included a half late night comic minister. Steve rode in on a horse and I protected his shoes.

If they miss Datsyuk THIS much, the Wings are in a world of hurt. Is it lack of fire or lack of leadership? Both? (ducks flying hockey pucks). Regardless, Ken Holland maybe in a weaker bargaining position if the 3-0 margin holds up?

Bargaining position be damned, he has to do SOMETHING.

About The Malik Report
The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I’ve joined the Kukla’s Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you’ll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we’re all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.

I’m an alumnus of the University of Michigan, possessing bachelor’s degrees in English and Secondary Education. I have no formal journalistic training, however, so I’m trying to make blogging work while entering through an open window. I’m simply a partisan Wings fan who believes that passionate but professional bloggers fill a complimentary and contextual gap between the objective media and fans, and I can boast being the first blogger to be granted access to the past four Wings’ “summer strength and conditioning camps,” as well as the Red Wings’ 2010 prospect tournament and main training camp in Traverse City, MI.
You can follow me on Twitter at @georgemalik, on Facebook, subscribe to the blog’s RSS feed (or any KK blog’s RSS feed here) and you can always email me .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Even with Dangles in the lineup, the Wings have trouble with the bomber forecheck by the Dives. It is relentless and our coaching staff haven’t figured it out at all this season.
