Gary’s show is hilarious. I don’t know who screens the calls, but they don’t do a very good job.
Caller #1 “Hey Mr Bettman, how come you hate Canada?”
Caller #2 ” Why do you give all these guys concussions?”
Caller #3 “Why are there so many teams in the US South when Americans hate hockey?”
Caller #4 “Why did you steal the Nordiques?”
Caller #5 “How come you didn’t fire Kerry Fraser for rigging the Leafs-Kings 93 playoff series?”
and so on. EJ just sits their uncomfortably during all of this.

About The Malik Report
The Malik Report is a destination for all things Red Wings-related. I offer biased, perhaps unprofessional-at-times and verbose coverage of my favorite team, their prospects and developmental affiliates. I’ve joined the Kukla’s Korner family with five years of blogging under my belt, and I hope you’ll find almost everything you need to follow your Red Wings at a place where all opinions are created equal and we’re all friends, talking about hockey and the team we love to follow.

I’m an alumnus of the University of Michigan, possessing bachelor’s degrees in English and Secondary Education. I have no formal journalistic training, however, so I’m trying to make blogging work while entering through an open window. I’m simply a partisan Wings fan who believes that passionate but professional bloggers fill a complimentary and contextual gap between the objective media and fans, and I can boast being the first blogger to be granted access to the past four Wings’ “summer strength and conditioning camps,” as well as the Red Wings’ 2010 prospect tournament and main training camp in Traverse City, MI.

So, I wonder what fan will call and beg for Holland to sign Nash at whatever the cost. I won’t be listening to it. But good info.
