COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned forward Nikita Filatov to the Syracuse Crunch, the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, club General Manager Scott Howson announced today.
Filatov, 18, recorded one goal and had a plus/minus rating of +1 in four games with the Blue Jackets this season. He became only the fourth player in franchise history to score a goal in his NHL debut when he lit the lamp against Nashville on October 17. He also has tallied 2-0-2 and is +1 in two games with the Crunch.

The Ducks have placed defenseman Ken Klee on reverse waivers as of 9 a.m. (PST) Monday morning. If another NHL team claims Klee before 9 a.m. Tuesday morning, the Ducks would split his remaining salary for this season with that team.
The 37-year-old Klee has played in three games with the Ducks since being acquired in a Sept. 26 trade that sent veteran defenseman Mathieu Schneider to the Atlanta Thrashers. Klee was scoreless, with an even plus-minus mark and four penalty minutes.

from the Toronto Maple Leafs,
Luke Schenn is staying with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Best get used to the idea. It’ll be this way for a long time.
Leafs head coach Ron Wilson Monday confirmed the 18-year-old Schenn would not be returning to the Kelowna Rockets.
“I said if he was one of the top four defencemen on our team he would play,” Wilson said. “He’s easily in the top four.”
