SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Norfolk Admirals right wing Steve Downie has been suspended for three (3) games as a result of his actions in a game at Worcester on Nov. 19.
Downie was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 29.1 (supplementary discipline).
Note: my understanding is another hit from behind.
