ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has placed defenseman Barret Jackman on injured reserve with a sprained knee, suffered in last night’s 2-0 win over San Jose at Scottrade Center. Jackman will be re-evaluated in three weeks by Dr. Rick Wright. In addition, Blues’ defenseman Roman Polak will have his wrist laceration re-evaluated in eight weeks by Dr. Martin Boyes. The Blues have recalled defenseman Ian Cole from the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
