Coyotes Recall Goertzen

GLENDALE, ARIZONA—Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled right wing Steven Goertzen from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.
Goertzen, 24, has recorded 5-6-11 and 60 penalty minutes (PIM) in 39 games with San Antonio this season. Last season, he appeared in 81 AHL games with Syracuse and San Antonio, finishing with 9-8-17 and 106 PIM. Goertzen also scored one goal while playing in all seven of San Antonio’s playoff contests.
